St Leonards Park Playground offers a wide range of play equipment to meet the needs of both younger and older children.

A large landscaped sandpit has diggers and conveyor belts for the construction-minded, while there are an array of instruments in the music corner to tempt more musical children. A rubber pathway incorporating a colourful over-sized ‘Snakes and Ladders’ game meanders through the play space connecting the swings, the junior structure, the senior structures and the central roundabout.

Safety: The playground area does not have a child safety fence enclosing it but it is surrounded by a low concrete wall with just two openings which keeps the kids somewhat contained when playing in this space. It is also set well back from the roads.

Amenities: Public toilets are available, as well as picnic tables and barbeque area. Water bubbler also provided.

Parking: On street parking is available in the streets around the park. Majority is paid parking but you can sometimes score a time limited unmetered spot so worth keeping an eye out for these,
