Blackman Park is a fabulous spot for a family day out. There are numerous picnic tables and BBQ facilities throughout, along with open fields for ball games and kite flying and the like. A bicycle track makes a circuit round the field and through the bush and is a great spot for beginner riders to practice their skills.

There is also a fabulous kids playground offering a variety of play equipment to suit all ages, including:

roundabout,
swings,
dome rope climbing structure and rock wall
a quaint cubby themed modular play structure with slide, and
a flying fox

You’ll find the kids playground right at the end of Lloyd Rees Drive.

Its an exciting place for the kids with more and more to be discovered the further they wander through the park.

Safety: The playground equipment is not fenced but is set away from the road. Lots of shade available from mature trees as well as shaded picnic table pavilions provided.

Amenities: Toilets are located near to the playground at the back of the car park. BBQ facilities and picnic tables provided.

Parking: Plenty of parking available in a large carpark within the reserve.
