A visit to the Australian National Maritime Museum makes for a fascinating day of learning and discovery. Kids (and grown ups) will enjoy exploring the real life tall ships, warships and submarine. There are numerous interactive displays as well as opportunities to participate in a great range of hands on activities.

The museum is accessible to strollers and prams via ramps and lifts, however they are not allowed on the vessels – free storage for these items are available in the cloak room.

For safety reasons children have to be at least 90cm tall to board all vessels.

Opening hours: 9:30am–5:00pm (6:00pm in January) every day of the year except Christmas Day (25 December). Last boarding time for Vessels: 4:10pm
